忆念佛陀 · 慈悲遍满《薪·心·菩提》-  开心打🤚印开启2022卫塞节庆典！

2022年4月16日上午，佛学会齐聚了卸任会长拿督林绥授太平绅士、时任会长朱宝安居士、卫塞节筹委会主席郑美慧居士、数位佛学会理事成员以及卫塞节筹委会成员。
这天大家带着一颗童心未泯的心，开心齐聚“盖手印”活动。一个个大小不一的手印，逐渐拼凑成一颗菩提树！《薪·心·菩提》开心打手印正式启动了2022年卫塞节庆典系列活动序幕！
《薪·心·菩提》概念来自筹委主席郑美慧居士和筹委James师兄。希望藉此活动让每个大大小小的手印筑城一棵大大的菩提树，承载着传承、提起正知正觉的菩提心，展现“从无到有”与“点滴成树”的概念，体现佛法的“缘起观”。
阔别两年，今年重新开放庆祝卫塞节。

Inheritance · Heart · Bodhi 🤚prints
Signalling the Beginning of Wesak 2022 Celebrations!

On the morning of April 16 2022, the former president Dato Vincent Lim, the current president Brother Chee Poh On, the Wesak organising committee chairperson Sister Angeline Tee, and various other members of both the SABS and Wesak organising committees gathered at the temple for a fun yet meaningful exercise.

Harkening back to their childhood, they painted their hands with bright colours and imprinted them onto a beautiful bodhi tree canvas. With that, the “Inheritance · Heart · Bodhi Handprints” activity signals our Wesak 2022 celebrations!

The brainchild of Sister Angeline and Brother James from the Wesak organising committee, “Inheritance · Heart · Bodhi Handprints” hopes to gather hands and hearts of different shapes and sizes to form a magnificent bodhi tree. This tree will represent the legacy and wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings, visualising how all things start from humble beginnings and the concept of dependent origins.

After two years, we are finally back to celebrating Wesak in full force.
